In a groundbreaking announcement set to reshape the physical security landscape, Brivo, a global leader in cloud-native access control, and Eagle Eye Networks, a pioneer in cloud AI video surveillance, have officially merged. This strategic union creates the world’s largest AI cloud-native physical security company, poised to deliver an unprecedented, truly unified security platform under the Brivo name.
Dean Drako, Chairman of Brivo and Founder of Eagle Eye Networks, unveiled the transformative merger, emphasizing the immediate benefits for clients. “Customers will have one support team, one business relationship, and one integrated cloud-native physical security solution,” Drako affirmed. The newly expanded Brivo Security Suite will centralize enterprise security operations, seamlessly integrating AI, access control, video intelligence, visitor management, and intrusion detection into a single, comprehensive solution.
Steve Van Till, Brivo’s Founder, underscored the market implications of this consolidation. “The merger cements our leadership position in the market, provides a better solution for our customers, and helps resellers grow their businesses more efficiently,” he stated. Van Till also highlighted the long-standing synergy between the two companies, which have shared a common vision and ownership for a decade. This merger, he explained, is a logical progression designed to align operations, foster faster innovation, and deliver even better service to their expanding customer base.
Crucially, the merged entity will maintain its steadfast commitment to an open platform, ensuring continued support for other video and access control solutions within the ecosystem. Dean Drako will now lead the combined company as CEO, with Steve Van Till stepping into the role of President. The bolstered Brivo boasts U.S. headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, and Austin, Texas, complemented by a strong global footprint with additional offices in Lehi, Utah, Amsterdam, Bangalore, and Tokyo.
