Hampton View High-Rise Gets Complete Security Overhaul

Hampton View High-Rise Gets Security Overhaul for Enhanced Resident Safety

A Wolverhampton residential tower has received a major security upgrade, thanks to a collaboration between Comelit-PAC and Harrold Jones Services. Hampton View, a 22-story building managed by Sanctuary Housing in the Heath Town area, now boasts a state-of-the-art CCTV system designed to keep residents safe and secure.

Originally constructed in 1969, Hampton View has been a fixture in the local community for decades. Sanctuary Housing recognized the need to modernize the building’s security infrastructure and commissioned Harrold Jones Services to revamp the aging CCTV system.

Chris Rogers MIFSM from Sanctuary Housing Association, emphasized the importance of the project, stating, “Resident safety is central to everything we do. The new CCTV system at Hampton View is a key part of our ongoing investment in building security and reflects our commitment to providing safe, secure places to live. We’re pleased to have worked with Harrold Jones Services and Comelit-PAC to deliver this vital upgrade.”

The upgrade involved the installation of Comelit-PAC’s NDAA-compliant Next Range of IP CCTV products. This comprehensive system provides complete coverage of all 22 floors, the external car park, and the surrounding perimeter areas. The high-definition monitoring, improved reliability, and enhanced visibility offered by the new system ensure better protection for residents and property management alike.

Lloyd Palmer, Sales Manager at Harrold Jones Services, highlighted the project’s goals: “Our aim was to deliver a robust and future-ready surveillance solution that meets both regulatory standards and the expectations of modern residential living. By working with Comelit-PAC, we’ve ensured Hampton View benefits from a well-planned and professionally installed CCTV system that enhances day-to-day safety and long-term resilience.”

Commitment to Housing Security

This installation underscores Comelit-PAC’s ongoing dedication to supporting housing providers throughout the UK with practical, scalable, and compliant security solutions. The successful implementation at Hampton View demonstrates the value of collaboration between housing associations, technology specialists, and integrators in enhancing residential safety.

Stephen Tickle, Regional Sales Manager of Comelit-PAC, expressed his pride in the project: “We’re proud to have supported this upgrade. Our NDAA-compliant Next Range is engineered for reliable performance, full visual verification and full-site coverage in residential environments. Hampton View now benefits from a system designed to meet the operational and compliance needs of housing providers, while providing residents with added peace of mind security.”
