Theia Technologies is celebrating a win! Their IQ Lens System has been recognized as a top innovation by the 2025 Vision Systems Design Innovators Awards. The engineering community cast their votes, awarding Theia Technologies a Bronze medal in the competitive Lighting, Lenses, and Optics category.

These motorized lenses aren’t just any lenses; they deliver a sharp 300lp/mm resolution performance in both visible and NIR light. Equipped with motorized zoom and focus, they also offer optional integrated NIR filters and photo-interrupter motor stops.

To streamline development, Theia’s IQ Lens System includes a Python-based SDK and an easy-to-use GUI. This setup translates engineering units into motor steps, ultimately reducing development effort and costs, and accelerating the journey to market. The software and GUI are readily available when the USB interface is used with the Motor Control Board.

Theia’s MCR IQ Motor Control Board boasts a versatile command interface supporting USB, UART, or I2C protocols. Calibration data and software applications, complete with a royalty-free license, are included with every IQ Lens and MCR IQ purchase.
