Reolink: Reset via Physical Reset Button

Almost all DVRs and NVRs follow similar reset steps. Here we use Reolink NVRs as an example, but the process is similar for other brands:

1. Connect the DVR/NVR to power and turn it on.
2. Check the back of the device for a reset button or pinhole labeled “Reset.”

• If found, press and hold it for about 10–30 seconds until you hear a beep.

3. If there is no external button, remove the outer casing using a screwdriver.

• Locate the reset button on the mainboard (PCB).
• Press and hold it until you hear a buzzing “beep” sound.

4. Once the device beeps, it will restore to factory settings. You can then set a new username and password.
