ISC West 2025 Wraps Up, Leaving a Mark on the Security World

ISC West 2025, in collaboration with the Security Industry Association and organized by RX, drew to a close last week at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. The premier security event in the U.S. attracted almost 29,000 professionals, making a significant impact on the global security landscape. Over five days, ISC West hosted over 19,000 attendees and showcased 750 exhibiting brands.

ISC West broke new ground with its enhanced SIA Education@ISC program, starting a day early to provide attendees with more opportunities to connect and learn. The program featured the largest number of sessions to date, attracting full rooms and dynamic discussions led by industry experts. Sessions covered emerging trends and challenges, offering attendees valuable knowledge to apply within their organizations.

The ISC West Keynote Series delivered powerful insights to the Main Stage, starting with Rachel Wilson, Director of Cybersecurity at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, who explored the evolving cyber threat landscape. On Day 2, Will Bernhjelm, VP of Security for Mall of America, provided a behind-the-scenes look at protecting a major retail hub. Kate Maxwell, Microsoft’s Worldwide Education Lead, concluded with an inspiring session on authenticity. The Main Stage transformed into a celebration venue on Wednesday evening, where attendees and exhibitors enjoyed a performance by Gin Blossoms at the ISC West Concert.

Another highlight was the SIA New Products and Solutions Awards, which showcased the latest security advancements. Vaidio’s Vaidio 9.0 AI Vision Platform won the Best New Product Award, while Robotic Assistance Devices received the Judges’ Choice Award for SARA – AI Security Agent for Autonomous Threat Detection and Response. These innovations highlight the industry’s commitment to staying ahead of evolving threats and providing smarter, more efficient solutions.

With an increased focus on cybersecurity and enhanced educational opportunities, ISC West 2025 introduced a new RSA @ISC: IT for Security Professionals track, in partnership with RSA, alongside its core education tracks. One insightful session was *Two Worlds Colliding: How to Prevent Cyber-Physical Attacks,* held at The Bridge. This panel brought together experts from the cyber and physical security sectors to explore the power of collaboration in countering modern threats. Attendees also had the chance to meet cybercrime journalist and author Deb Radcliff and receive signed copies of her novel, *Breaking Backbones: Information Is Power.*
