South Korean surveillance giant IDIS has bolstered its Edge AI Plus camera lineup with the introduction of two cutting-edge PTZ cameras: the Edge AI Plus 8MP LightMaster IR PTZ camera (DC-S6883WRA) and the Edge AI Plus 6MP LightMaster IR PTZ camera (DC-S6683WRA).
These NDAA-compliant cameras are engineered to deliver comprehensive scene coverage, AI-driven auto-tracking, rapid 40x zoom, electronic image stabilization (EIS), and advanced AI-powered automation. The powerful PTZ auto-tracking, coupled with IDIS’s A-Cut and AI Search technology, simplifies the process for security teams to monitor the movements of people and vehicles across multiple cameras and diverse scenes. The system’s advanced attribute recognition empowers users to perform quick searches based on parameters such as gender, age, accessories, vehicle type (cars, trucks, buses, bicycles, motorcycles, etc.), and color.

Like other models in the Edge AI Plus series, these PTZ cameras leverage the next generation of IDIS’s proprietary IDIS Deep Learning Engine, IDLA Pro, to power their analytics. This unlocks four new, AI-driven functionalities:

* **Abandoned Object Detection:** Detect unattended items that may pose a security risk.
