OpenEye, a pioneer in cloud-managed video surveillance solutions, has announced a significant integration with Patriot Systems, a move set to enhance the capabilities of security monitoring centers globally. This strategic partnership facilitates the seamless transmission of critical security video and system health data directly to the Patriot Systems platform, promising a new era of faster, more accurate incident response.
The integration leverages OpenEye Web Services (OWS) to establish a secure cloud-to-cloud connection with Patriot Systems. This robust link grants monitoring centers direct access to vital video feeds and system health data from OpenEye recording devices. A standout feature of this collaboration is the ability for alerts generated within Patriot Systems to automatically retrieve relevant video clips from OWS. This empowers operators with immediate visual verification of incidents, drastically improving response accuracy and operational efficiency.

Beyond immediate incident verification, the OpenEye and Patriot Systems integration offers a comprehensive suite of benefits. Monitoring centers can now verify events using both live and recorded video directly within the Patriot Systems interface. Furthermore, the system provides proactive maintenance by sending automated alerts regarding recorder health from OWS to Patriot Systems, ensuring potential issues are addressed before they escalate.
Jesse Love, National Sales Manager (APAC) at Patriot Systems, underscored the transformative potential for monitoring centers. “Integrating OpenEye’s sophisticated video verification and live streaming capabilities into Patriot allows monitoring centers to significantly improve response times and dramatically reduce false alarms,” Love explained. “Operators will not only receive advanced analytic alarms from cameras but can also be automatically presented with the most relevant camera feeds tied to zone events, providing instant onsite visuals.
