Check Point’s CPX Bangkok 2025: Pioneering Cybersecurity, AI Integration, and Strategic Partnerships

At CPX Bangkok 2025, Check Point Software Technologies unveiled its ambitious roadmap for the future of cybersecurity, marking not only a leadership shift but also a significant move toward leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and fostering strategic partnerships. The event highlighted the company’s commitment to maintaining its position as a leading cybersecurity provider amidst the complexities of a highly interconnected digital landscape.

Leadership Transition: Charting a New Course

A pivotal moment at CPX Bangkok was the introduction of Check Point’s new management team, with Nadav Zafrir stepping into the role of CEO. This transition follows Gil Schwed, the company’s founder and now Executive Chairman, stepping back from daily operations after leading Check Point since its inception.

Schwed took the stage to reflect on Check Point’s three-decade journey in digital security, setting the stage for the company’s next phase under Zafrir’s leadership. Zafrir emphasized his vision for innovation, collaboration, transparency, and agility. He stated, “Over nearly 30 years, I’ve observed the cybersecurity landscape from various angles, and I am committed to developing scalable, responsible cybersecurity solutions that can handle today’s digital complexity.”

AI as a Cornerstone of Cybersecurity

The event underscored Check Point’s strategic investment in AI to address the escalating intricacies of cyber threats. As digital interconnectivity grows, so do the frequency, sophistication, and velocity of cyberattacks. Check Point’s response involves integrating AI across its product portfolio to improve threat detection, prevention, and response capabilities.

The company introduced Infinity Copilot, an AI-driven platform designed to streamline the management of complex cybersecurity environments. Infinity Copilot offers proactive insights, policy recommendations, and automated threat monitoring, thereby reducing human error and enhancing operational efficiency.

Moreover, Check Point showcased Policy Insights, an AI-powered tool that enables security teams to continuously refine and enforce security policies using predictive analysis. This ensures that cybersecurity remains adaptable and resilient against evolving threats.

Collaboration for Enhanced Cybersecurity

Recognizing that no single entity can address modern cyber threats alone, Check Point is forging strategic alliances with key industry players to create a more comprehensive security ecosystem.

One of the notable partnerships announced at CPX Bangkok was with Wiz, a leading provider of Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP). This collaboration aims to enhance cloud security by providing end-to-end visibility and proactive threat detection across multi-cloud environments.

This partnership is crucial for organizations adopting hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, as it integrates Wiz’s CNAPP solutions with Check Point’s security offerings, bolstering defenses against data breaches, ransomware attacks, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).

The SASE and Zero Trust Paradigm Shift

CPX Bangkok also delved into the industry’s shift toward Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), a unified security model that merges networking and security into a single cloud-based solution.

Amit Bareket, VP of Secure Service Edge at Check Point, highlighted the growing importance of SASE, stating, “The adoption of SASE has a direct correlation with the transition to cloud environments. By 2025-2026, we expect organizations to aggressively adopt SASE, making cloud security a critical component of their cybersecurity strategy.”

Bareket further emphasized SASE’s role in implementing Zero Trust frameworks, suggesting a phased adoption approach: “Organizations can start small, onboard incrementally, and gradually migrate from legacy systems to a full SASE framework.” This method ensures a smooth transition to modern security technologies without disrupting existing infrastructure.

Towards a Future-Ready Security Framework

The overarching theme from CPX Bangkok 2025 was the integration of AI, cloud technologies, and strategic partnerships to address the demands of a hyperconnected world. As businesses navigate a complex digital landscape, the need for advanced, scalable, and intelligent security solutions is more critical than ever.

With a renewed leadership team in place and a focus on innovation and collaboration, Check Point is well-positioned to drive continued growth and innovation, particularly in the rapidly expanding APAC region.
