Gallagher Security Unveils High Sec Controller 7000 for Unparalleled Security
Global security manufacturer Gallagher Security has just announced the release of its latest innovation: the High Sec Controller 7000 (High Sec C7000), the newest addition to its award-winning controller product range.
Designed to meet the stringent requirements of countries within the Five Eyes Alliance, the High Sec C7000 ensures customers can confidently meet compliance standards with a future-proofed approach. This cutting-edge controller incorporates all the features of the recently launched C7000 Enhanced, with a FIPs approved micro and robust cybersecurity at its core.
The High Sec C7000 also integrates the core functionalities of the award-winning C7000 Standard variant, released less than 18 months ago, while enhancing them in key areas to provide customers with improved reliability, resilience, redundancy, and advanced cybersecurity.
Meeting Critical Security Needs
Jim Rayner, Gallagher Security Product Manager and head of production for the High Sec C7000, notes, “While the Controller 7000 Standard already boasts excellent cybersecurity features, the High Sec C7000 takes it a step further, specifically designed for high-security government and commercial applications.”
He further explains, “We are seeing an increasing demand from large users who require solutions certified for use on critical national infrastructure. This includes not only government sites but also commercial enterprises focused on mitigating risk and ensuring business continuity. These users are looking for PIV-ready devices to provide an extra layer of security and proactively address emerging threats.”
Compliance and Readiness
The High Sec C7000 is built with FIPS-compliant components and is PIV-ready upon release, aligning with U.S. Federal Government standards for new products. It also meets Class 5 standards, mandating the monitoring of cabling between devices and controllers for high-security customers in Australia and New Zealand, including government, defense, prisons, and data centers.
Currently, the High Sec C7000 is undergoing compliance testing for CAPSS and AACS from the UK’s National Protective Security Authority (NPSA), and FIPS 201 (US Federal Government standards).
Future-Proof Security
Gallagher’s C7000 product range provides end-users with industry-leading protection against firmware attacks in the supply chain, offering a platform ready for future challenges. These IP-based controllers manage localized access control, intruder alarms, perimeter security, business automation, and logic needs for organizations.
Operating independently from the Command Centre server, the C7000 product range ensures predefined responses to monitored events, site safety, and continuity. Its highly scalable system design can expand from single-door systems to global systems with up to 10,000 controllers per server.
Expanding the C7000 Range
The release of the High Sec C7000 brings Gallagher’s Controller 7000 product range to a total of four, including the C7000 Single Door, C7000 Standard, and C7000 Enhanced variants.
