Verkada Bolsters APAC Leadership Team, Eyes Further Expansion

Steve Bray steps in as Regional Vice President for Australia and New Zealand, spearheading go-to-market strategies from Verkada’s Sydney hub. Meanwhile, Blake Day assumes the role of Head of ASEAN, charged with driving regional growth and overseeing operations from the company’s ASEAN headquarters in Singapore.

Bray to Lead ANZ Growth

Bray brings over two decades of enterprise technology and SaaS experience in the Australian and New Zealand markets. His impressive resume includes leadership roles at Cloudflare, Zendesk, Salesforce, and Oracle. Bray’s extensive network within the ANZ IT channel, coupled with his proven ability to scale go-to-market operations, will be instrumental in accelerating Verkada’s growth in the region.

Day to Spearhead ASEAN Expansion

Day joins Verkada from Workday, where he spent over eight years leading high-performing teams and consistently exceeding sales targets across various roles in the U.S. and Singapore. For the past three years, he spearheaded Workday’s Singapore operations, playing a vital role in expanding the company’s footprint and strengthening its customer base throughout the ASEAN region.

Bray and Day join Verkada’s robust team of leaders in the Japan and Asia Pacific region during a period of significant growth for the company. Verkada’s customer base in the region has grown by an impressive 60% over the past year. To support this expansion, the company has recently expanded its offices in Sydney and Singapore. Verkada has also forged new partnerships with leading integrators and channel partners across the region, including Bluechip Infotech, Focus Digital Security Solutions, Field Solutions Holdings, LG CNS, and Takachiho Koheki.
